In our quest to renovate our personal home, finding the perfect kitchen shelf proved to be a challenging one. Although we came across some bespoke designed shelves online, we faced the frustration of not being able to find a place to order them. That's when we decided to approach Shelfology for a custom collaboration that finally brought our vision to life, allowing us to create this made-to-order, unique shelf that’s sustainably produced, easily customizable and the highest level of quality.

The MADOUK x MELLON. collaboration embodies Slow Design. This is the opposite of big box stores and mass production that takes advantage of the makers & creators. These rugs are 100% fair trade and handmade in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Our production team has personally touched the hands that have tied each knot and woven each design, giving homage to an ancient weaving heritage and village art form dating back thousands of years. We honor the lineage of these artisans and consider ourselves the bridge to bring their legacy artistry, featuring our inspired designs, into your home.

We designed this special sofa in collaboration with Clad Home with a nod to the chic geometric stylings of the 1970’s. The arches of the arms mirror the shape of the frame, which is left intentionally exposed to highlight the pleasing repetition of shapes. May be ordered with the wood base as shown or with low block feet that match the width of the arms.
